Week Three Task Two:The old internet technology-

As the internet growing so fast today, many media we used before have faded away from the internet. Most of those media could not fit the needs of our life. For example, we want to share photos at anytime and anywhere. Some of the old internet technologies had to change to catch up the need of the users.

Let's take AOL as an example. Let's first to have a look of the offical website of AOL today (www.aol.com). In order to increasing the usage of the people all over the world, they have already provided lots of ways to find them, which were really young applications in the 21st century. For example, Twitter. It's believed that, more and more people will join Twitter and share their opinions and ideas on that.

As we all know that, Facebook and Twitter are two major networking platforms for us, lots of other applications or users relying on them, such as the Talkbox, etc. Facebook offers a username/ID that users' friends and families knows, that is, easy to find each other. That is why lots of other media could rely on them. Users do not have to create a new ID and password, just using Facebook or Twitter and sync the address book, then they can invite their old friends to join another group of new media. Personally, something like Facebook or Twitter provide a "user ID" might last long because people still need a identity through internet activities.
